Whats Up!
Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I am going to be stopping Oscar & Sid. I am about to go back to school and will also be working full time. As you can tell by the lack of posting, I just am not able to keep up the strip and all of the other things I have going on. I am going to do one more story to bring the strip to a close. I’m not saying that in a couple of years I won’t revisit my strip, but for now I have to wrap it up. I LOVE Oscar & Sid and have LOVED doing my strip. I really appreciate all of the support and love that everyone has shown my little comic strip. Thank you all!

I just wanted to post a little blog and apologize for the complete lack of Oscar & Sid. Unfortunately personal stress has gotten in the way of me producing my comic. I can’t promise that I will have a new one every single day right now, but I do promise that I will post much more often. Thanks for hanging in there and for reading Oscar & Sid….you guys are the best!!
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are enjoying the Sid as Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer story! Since I just saw Captain America and am really loving all the comic stuff going on now, I am going to give you guys a treat. I did about 15 comic strips for a web site called InvestComics. They were only available on that site, until now. These are all comic book geek humor, so you may not get it…but if you do get it, I hope you enjoy!!
Well I think I finally have the site fixed! I am able to get new stuff to post and edit all the content on my site now! I think there are still some little bugs that I have to work out, so I may not start the new storyline until next Monday. Rest assured, that I will post something everyday this week though…it may be a little silly drawing, but I will post something! Thank you for being patient while I worked all this stuff out! I’m glad you didn’t forget about Oscar & Sid!
A lot of people ask me how much of the strip is hand drawn and how much is done on the computer.Well to answer that question, I present to you a strip today that has been untouched by photoshop! Call it Oscar & Sid: Unplugged.
This is my hand drawn art only, well except the letters.because my handwriting is awful! Take a look and compare it to some of the other strips.

I’m very sorry about the lack of posts lately. I am having some pretty serious computer issues as far as getting my new strips up here! So I dug through what I already had and figured I would go with one you guys may have not seen. I did a comic for the Jason & Jenn show out of Baltimore when the whole Kanye thing happened. So I figured that was kinda funny. Hang in there I should have new stuff up very soon!

I’ve had a lot of people ask me how much of Oscar & Sid is hand drawn and how much is done on the computer? Well, I decided to show you. Today’s strip is done completely without any computer stuff that I normally do. There is no shading, tones or grays. I did still do the letters in the computer cause my handwriting is GARBAGE! Please let me know which style you like better. I value your opinion!

Don’t forget today is the last day of my write an “Etiquette” strip for Oscar & Sid. Etiquette is my Sunday strip that I draw. It can only be two panels and can only have one word, “Seriously?” It is supposed to be about those things in life that just make you look at someone and say “Seriously?” I’ve got some good ones, so step up your game and let me have them. The winner gets their strip published, writers credit, and the original artwork!!

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone for supporting Oscar & Sid through their first 400 strips! I can’t believe I have done this many, I never thought I would get to 100. Please continue reading and supporting the strip, there are some big things coming up!! A HUGE thanks to my wife, Marjorie. She is taking a huge risk with me in making this dream I have of drawing a comic strip for living work. Thank you love, I couldn’t do this without you!! Thanks also to Rob Jones. Rob has been very instrumental in this thing working out. If you look back at O&S 1 and compare it now, a lot of the progression is thanks to Rob. I’ll end this little blurb with a quote from my Mom. “Keep your fork, the best is yet to come!!”
